BJ's Jeremiah Red® Irish-Style Ale: Malty and Delicious
There's something special about BJ's Jeremiah Red® Irish-Style Ale. This strong ale is a customer favorite, and it's easy to see why! It's brewed with a secret blend of five imported specialty malts that give the beer its famous red color; these malts also work together to create a complex flavor and fruity aroma. When you sip BJ's Jeremiah Red®, you'll find it's smooth, drinkable and incredibly enjoyable. Irish pub culture is known for its friendly and relaxed atmosphere, and BJ's Jeremiah Red® is a perfect way to get in the spirit.
BJ's Jeremiah Red® Is an Award-Winning Beer
BJ's Jeremiah Red® was the beer that earned BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse its first-ever medal: the Silver Medal for Strong Ale at the 1996 Great American Beer Festival. In the decades since, Jeremiah Red® has won many more awards. Most recently, it won the Bronze Medal for English-Style Old Ale from the 2018 North American Beer Awards and the Bronze Medal for Other Strong Beer from the 2018 Can Can Awards.
What Does BJ's Jeremiah Red® Irish-Style Ale Pair Well With?
Like red wine, BJ's Jeremiah Red® is great with red meat dishes. BJ's Brewhouse Burger is a great and classic companion for BJ's Jeremiah Red®. If you want something less traditional, our Cherry Chipotle Glazed Salmon also goes particularly well with this ale. Of course, you can't go wrong pairing this Irish-style ale with any of our barbeque dishes.
Did You Know?
The combination of the five specialty malts imparts a distinctive cherry note to BJ's Jeremiah Red®. Despite this, there are no cherries or other fruits infused in the beer. This is just one example of how many great and unique flavors you can get from a well-crafted beer like ours at BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse.
