BJ's Nutty Brewnette® is an American-style Brown Ale that's sure to please. Unlike English-style Brown Ales, which tend to be heavy on the malt, BJ's Nutty Brewnette® adds a healthy dose of hops for greater balance. The bitterness of the hops balances out the sweetness from the four different dark malts quite nicely. As its name indicates, BJ's Nutty Brewnette® also has distinctive nutty notes. This is due to Victory Malt, one of the four malts we use in crafting this beer. This combination of sweet, hoppy and nutty flavors makes BJ's Nutty Brewnette® a favorite for all kinds of beer-drinkers.

BJ's Nutty Brewnette® is a popular beer, and it has also won several awards! Most recently, it took home the Bronze Medal for American-Style Brown Ale at the 2016 North American Beer Awards. This is just one of the many awards that BJ's Nutty Brewnette® has earned since its first award: a Gold Medal for American-Style Brown Ale at the Los Angeles County Fair in 2003.
